Meeting was called to order by Connie
Martin.
Seven members and two guests were
present.
Minutes of March meeting were read and
approved.
Treasurers
Report
The Treasurer's Report was read and approved.
A current balance of $2,302.95 was reported.
Old Business
Report on 2011 One-Day
Conference.
o A summary of the evaluation sheets was provided
by Connie; overall the conference received high ratings. The summary will
be retained as lessons learned for forthcoming conferences.
o An accounting of receipts and expenses from
the 2011 conference was provided by Mark Dickerson, Treasurer. Net profit
from the conference was $380.71. Additionally, an accounting of the Nancy
Parkhill/Sally File foundation fund was provided; current balance is
$395.00.
Lynn Miller received word that the Albuquerque
Journal will now be charging for listings in their support group insert ($20/4
months = $60/yr). Mark took an action item to contact the Journal for inclusion
in the August insert. If this can be paid for periodically, response will
be monitored before committing to a full year.
Connie Martin reported receiving an e:mail
regarding providing birth control awareness information on our web site.
Following discussion, we will decline.
Birth Mothers Day Celebration
plans have been finalized and flyers mailed.
New Business
Publicity for meetings following
discussion, action item was assigned to Connie Martin to determine
point-of-contact for Prime Time.
AAC dues Mark will follow
up to determine when and how
much.
Meeting adjourned at 8 p.m. to allow sharing
time.
